A Nightmare,My First Story Assignment

                                        A Nightmare

A December’s dark night, New YORK Street, a station’s road, a clock at 1:00 am, the roads are empty, silent & foggy. A shadow appears and there is a pretty girl Maira, wearing a thin coat, feeling cold, scared, alone & in a hurry. Maira has just finished a party & now is going back home. She walks fast thinking it’s too late & there is no transport home. She feels insecure & afraid. Suddenly she senses someone behind her & she turns round quickly. There is no one. She thinks it might be her illusion & she starts walking again but again she hears feet, She turns again but there is no one. This time she's scared badly & without thinking she starts running. Then a tall man comes in front of her, a man wearing a long coat and a hat which is covering half of his face & he stands like a statue. She stops & starts shivering. She glances everywhere, here, there all around but she doesn’t find anyone to help her.

            Maria:
Who are you? (tremulous)

     Man:
 (Silent Breathy)

                        Maira:
Who are you & why do you block my way? (Tremulous, loud)

     Man:
(Silent Breathy)

             Maira:
Please go away I just want to go home! (Brittle)

But the man remains silent & breathy. She begs him to leave but he doesn’t move.
Maira starts running back to find some help & the man follows. She starts screaming, thinking he will kill her. He might be a thief or murderer. She’s trying to find a safe place with some crowd around her but it’s late night. Every bar, pub & shop is closed & no transport available, but there is a car coming. She screams help me, help, please help me! But the car never stops & passes, fast. She’s tired, breathy & sweating. She bends down & cries.

                  Maira:
Oh God help Me. (crying, praying)

The man comes close & grips her neck from the back, tightly with his strong arms.
Maira tries to get free. She writhes even though he’s very strong but she punches him & pushes him away. He loses his balance, she runs. Suddenly she falls in a pool. She can’t swim but she is trying to. She’s writhing & she can’t breathe, she’s going down, down, down & she opens her eyes, her mom throws some water on her to trying to wake her up & she s shouting on her.

                    Mom:
Wake up maira wake up you’re late for office. (Shrilly)

She gets up quickly.

       Maira:
Okay Mom! (Sighs)

She’s tries to remind what was happening to her?
And she feels so relieved when she finds she had a Nightmare!

                  Maira:
Thanks God that was a dream. (Sighs, talking in mind)

She saw her alarm clock at 9.00am

               Maira:
Oh Shit I am late (speaks quickly)

She throws blanket away.
She s taking a shower &  she thinks about her dream (quickly flashes back) in mind

After  she comes in the living room in front of the mirror  drying her hair with a towel.
And the phone sounds, Tring, Tring!

          Mom:
Maira Please Pick up the phone.

         Maira:
Hello, Hello! (On phone)

        Maira:

Stop Slavery

Long time ago there was a village which was divided in two parts.
There were rich people ruling on poor people. They torture them for hard work without paying them. poor people did very hard work like farming, labor work and some of them were boat men.
their children had to do the same with their parents ,but the rich people children were doing the opposite like higher studies and had all the facilities. They were even teasing poor kids. poor children were never allowed to studying or playing. They did not have enough food for their family.
One day there was a boy name Jackson 20 years old. He was doing study in an other city. One day he visited a village and he saw how poor people were used to live. So he decided to change their situation. Jackson started preaching people for their rights he told them how they can deny to do that work without getting paid how they can earn their respect back  and how they can educate their kids. He was facing many problems because of his good actions rich people used to hate him but still he did not give up. He started home schooling for poor kids even for old people too. slowly slowly people were aware and they started fighting for their freedom and finally their situation were changed people education, money and food.
There was no difference between rich and poor people.

What Is Media ?
NETWORK MEDIA

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Network media (sometimes referred to as networked media) refers to media mainly used in computer networks such as the Internet.
Network media is essentially driven by technological development, emerging from the internet as a non-centralized medium in the late nineties, the term has more recently begun to be applied to both the arts and industry. The following features distinguish Network Media from classical media, such as broadcast media and the printed press:
  • Network Media is typically democratic and decentralized. The audience can also be the contributors.Media tells about the right information to the city.
  • Network Media often requires the involvement of computers as an input/output device.
  • Network media requires a community to participate and consume.
With the rapidly increasing digital era, new aspects of digital networking are becoming more important. Essentially, network media is about co-operative/collaborative practice in which many can contribute to the production of "media".
The benefits of the development of inter-networking ultimately has allowed for greater political, social comment and discussion but is also widely thought of in a much broader context of globalization and the fragmentation of the world.
