Evaluation Of Radio Drama
1 I got the
Original play from BBC schools radio.
2 Yes I did practise
reading the play before I recorded because I want to read my part loud &
clear with good pronunciation.
3 Foreboding,
ancient, crest, ornate, gargoyles, gesturing, hushed, soaked, lurking,
ascended, mote, coincidences, giant & ceilinged, these are hard words to
say.
4 My role in the
play was as a little girl Mary & the rest of cast were- Oryman=Jack (male) Lyn=Higgins (female servant) Serafim=Count Von Leaf (male- European accent)
Nuria=Countess Von Leaf (female European accent) & the Narrator was Mona
Salah.
5 I got these
sounds effect from BBC audio library & some additional music from I Movie.
6
We read the
script as a play then we recorded on a DSLR camera without making video then we
dragged in our computer with USB cable, saved in my folder & downloaded
into I Movie & I edited it with sound effects according to script. After
completed my editing I put my Audio work on my blog.
7 The strength of
my play is I improved my speaking skills & my pronunciation was better than
before & I improved my confidence too.
8 I need more practise
in reading & speaking if I want to work for radio. It’s really necessary
that I speak more clear & confidently. I think I should read more stories &
scripts to improve my vocabulary & English-pronunciation.
